Description
Our solution for easy model removal
I'm sure we've all had that experience where you have been printing for hours and finally see a wonderfully perfect result, only that the finished model sticks to the platform and you have to take it off carefully and delicately. If things go wrong, all the work and time was wasted. On behalf of all makers, we now offer this simple and practical solution. Simply remove the flexible plate and effortlessly remove your print by bending the plate. Don't worry, our flex plate is really flexible!
Adhesion
The surface of our flex plate has been specially developed to offer better adhesion than conventional print surfaces.
Simple application
- Our flexible build surface can be used universally for every printer. Simply choose the right dimensions for your printer. If necessary, you can even cut the flex plate to a smaller size yourself to fit your printer.
- After receiving the product, simply clean the platform of your printer and stick the magnetic base on it.
- Then simply place the flexible surface on the magnetic base.
- Place the printhead upon the build surface. A normal sheet of paper should fit just between the nozzle and the surface.
- After printing, you can simply take the flex plate off the printer and by bending it with your hands, the model will pop right off!
Contents of delivery
- 1 x magnetic base with adhesive back

3DJAKE Magnetic Plate
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Great quality works as well as a Creality base ordered this one as creality not available. Super swift delivery, It came well packaged but the british postal system had thrown the box about a bit and one corner of the mat was damaged. e-mailed 3D JAKE what a great customer service this company has. Sent a photo of damage new board offered but not needed but the cost has been credited to my account for future use. I wish more companys were this helpfull and customer focused.

Improved dramatically the first layer
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I have been struggling to get a proper first layer on the Biqu B1 SE plus. I don't know for what reason I threw money on glass bed with some mild improvement. I adapted this magnetic bed by poking holes for the screws so the plate isn't too much deformed.
This solution has been able to provide a consistent first layer.
The bed is still fragile: too much folding deformed it, and due to configuration mistake, it was dented in the middle by the nozzle pressing too hard.
The size 310x310 is a bit larger than the plate I have, so one has to place it properly in order to not hit frame.
Removing the piece is very easy with this. Was this rating helpful? (1) (0)

Mountain Range
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
I origionally wanted a spring steel bed for my CR10 Max but they are impossible to find in the UK so I settlet for this.
Intially I was impressed, the print surface is good.
Then I removed the sheet after a print, first impression was that it was very ungainly, way to floppy for such a large print bed, makes it difficult to remove and replace.
After removing the surface for a few prints I am now left with a print surface like a mountain range. Its basicly unusable and was a waste of money.
The magnetic bed was applied on a glass sheet and had no air bubbles, heat transfer is fine, the problem is definatley the removable surface deforming after being flexed to remove prints. Defeats the object really. Was this rating helpful? (3) (0)

Decent enough, there is a 'but' though.
Rated with 3 out of 5 stars.
Been using one of these for around 8 months for printing PLA. Application is easy and there's a good range of sizes. Releasing parts is easy and the adhesion is great.
This is where the 'but' comes in though;
I've found that lately I've been having trouble printing smaller parts, the first layer has trouble adhering in places. I eventually found the cause is that over time the textured surface of the sheet is smoothing out as a result of use, and so the filament isn't getting any purchase on the surface and sticking. If I run my finger across the sheet, I can feel it go from rougher at the outsides to much smoother near the centre. I need to replace it now and I'm not going to use another of these as I might end up just in the same boat another 8 months from now.Was this rating helpful? (2) (0)

One of the best build surfaces i have had
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
After all but wearing out the surface of the build surface that come with my 3D printer i went on the hunt for a replacement. I wasn't overly impressed with the tempered glass build plates as either the print stuck fast or came off half way through. Did some investigating and his seemed like a cheap option as a replacement glass plate was nearly twice the price.
Adhesion is amazing and I have found that i do not need so much heat in the bed to get good adhesion. My only big mistake was cleaning the surface with acetone after printing some ABS, build surface ruined as it stripped off the coating. You live and learn, back to PVA glue on a glass bed for that in future.
The only thing i would recommend for cleaning would be Isopropyl Alcohol, i use 99% which does not seem to have any effect on the surface. Was this rating helpful? (2) (1)

It is possible to do that without any issues but it is probably unnecessary as most adjustments would only need to be done via attachments beneath the bed.
