The Rotary Module adds a 4th axis to your Snapmaker, making it an extremely powerful desktop CNC device.

The rotary module is characterised by three-dimensional works of art such as desktop miniatures and small sculptures. Without extrusion, layer shifting, enclosures, or the support of FDM or SLA, the rotation module can achieve a level of detail and craftsmanship that no other 3D printing technology can match.

The rotary module supports dozens of materials including wood, tool boards, plastic, bamboo, leather, fabric, non-transparent acrylic and more.

Ultra-fine machining without loss of detail

The rotary module uses a strain wave gear and has a 100: 1 reduction gear that converts to a lower output speed. This allows the 3-jaw chuck to rotate with a minimum angle of 0.1 °. Now you can work on uneven and irregular surfaces without missing a step.

Precise control at your fingertips

• 360 ° continuous rotation with a maximum angular speed of 45 ° per second.

The rotary module is a fast sculptor. Together with the precise control of 0.2, 1 and 5 degrees on the touchscreen, you can really tell the difference with every movement.

Generate 4-axis projects directly in Snapmaker Luban

Snapmaker Luban is the free CAD and CAM software for your 4-axis projects. With our included software, you can easily create your designs from scratch.

Carve hollow objects

Import STL files and carve hollow objects with uniquely shaped outer shells into our software. For complete control, the advanced 4-axis connection support has also been added which allows the X, Y, Z and B axes to move at the same time.

Get to know Origin Assistant, your next intuitive CNC carving experience

The new Origin Assistant touchscreen feature enhances your rotational carving experience and interaction. Presetting CNC bits, setting origins and Z offsets, and installing materials are simplified. You can also choose the Assist mode for an easier process or the manual mode for more flexible controls.

Slim design

The rotary module has the same design signature as the Snapmaker 2.0. The metallic grey finish gives it a sophisticated appearance. Fully anodised aluminium in aero quality is the secret of its durability.

Combine the module with the Snapmaker Emergency Stop Button

The emergency stop button provides additional safety for 3D printing, laser engraving and CNC routers. Just press the stop button and operations will stop.

The rotary module and the emergency stop button are also available as a bundle.

► NOTE: In addition to Snapmaker 2.0, the Rotary Module is also compatible with Snapmaker Artisan and Snapmaker Ray. For use with Snapmaker Artisan or Ray, you will need an extension cable for the rotary module.
