Elegoo Neptune pro 4
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
As a first printer, the best price/value I could find. Even with new BambuLab products down the line this is not a bad deal. Very user friendly and precise.

Elegoo Neptune 4 Pro
Rated with 1 out of 5 stars.
The most frustrating printer i've ever owned (i've owned 6 including this). When it works it prints very well and at 250mm/s, but most of the time it is a royal pain. From print to print the levelling seems to change, i find myself constantly re-levelling and readjusting the z-offset, spending more time recalibrating than using the damn thing. I'm on the latest firmware and know 3d printers well. My 30 days is up so i can't return it to 3D Jake but i will be contacting Elegoo about a return.

Fantastic, just don't over-tighten the belts!
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I got this machine In the fall of 2023 and at first I was not happy: I had a lot of failures with models being shifted suddenly in the middle of the print. I used it only to print flat bases and the like. Than suddenly it stopped working altogether with the software complaining that it could not move the head at all. I re-installed the firmware etc until I realised that it was the x-axis belt that had snapped! I replaced it with a new belt and after researching the problem online I realised that a lot of people had been over-tightening the belt thus snapping it. The belt only needs to be tight enough to not slack and skipping a step.
After replacing the belt it has been working flawlessly! Great speed! excellent prints! Highly recommended! Was this rating helpful? (8) (1)

Utter lies
Rated with 1 out of 5 stars.
It prints fine at low speeds, but it utterly craps the bed at even half of the rated 500mm/s. False advertising at best and just criminal at worst.
Revising my review to one star, because there are NO REPLACEMENT NOZZLES AVAILABLE from either Elegoo or 3Djake. So basically 3Djake is selling a product that is living on borrowed time, because the part that is most likely to wear out cannot be replaced. Was this rating helpful? (12) (33)

My first 3d printer
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
This is every bit the printer I have been waiting for. Right price, right build quality, right construction (not receiving a bag of parts, but a mostly assembled unit). After 4 days I couldn't be happier... well I could, but not for this price.

When it works, it's great, but when it doesn't it's an absolute nightmare.
Rated with 2 out of 5 stars.
This print is great out of the box, and you'd be fooled in to thinking it's an absolute bargain at this price for the quality of prints it's able to churn out. However, after a few days I started getting issues with things not wanted to stick down on the first layer, and a very inconsistent z-offset across the bed. You'll end up spending more time bed levelling, cleaning and calibrating than you will printing. It's a delight when it works well, but when you have to solve issues you spend hours messing about with it.
I'll probably keep mine for now, because if anything it's starting to justify to me why paying big bucks for a top brand printer is probably worth it.
Would I recommend this printer to someone else? No. Unless you are more interested in how 3D printers work, and tinkering with them rather than actually printing stuff.
