Product information & technical details
Description
The Phaetus Hardened Steel XG Nozzle is a wear-resistant nozzle for 3D printing with composite materials containing abrasive additives. These include carbon fibre, steel, wood, boron carbide, tungsten, phosphorescent pigments, and other materials. The nozzle is temperature resistant up to 450 °C and can easily be used with special engineering plastics such as PEEK. With its hardness of over HRC60, there is minimal wear on the nozzle bore size during longer prints.
The nozzle is made with special processing technology and carefully manufactured, which means that it has no burr on the tip edge and no inconsistencies in the bore. The low roughness of the inner bore (≤ Ra 0.4 μm) and high-quality steel not only ensure excellent smoothness and less adhesion, but also stable printing performance with excellent quality. A minimum opening diameter of 0.1 mm ensures high accuracy when printing!
Features:
- M4 thread
- Temperature resistance up to 450 °C
- Thermal conductivity 22 W/mk
- Expansion coefficient 8 μm/m℃
