Description
The NF-S12A fans from Noctua are powerful 120mm case fans in the popular, classic straight blade design. Thanks to an optimised blade geometry with anti-stall knobs for maximum airflow and a new AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame for low noise, the S12 series fan has up to 8% higher efficiency. The renowned SSO2 bearing technology guarantees excellent smooth running for over 150,000 hours and long-term stability.
► FLX
The FLX version of the NF-S12A fan comes with a low noise adapter for three speed settings (1200/900/700 RPM), giving you more flexibility to choose between higher performance and silent operation.
► PWM
The PWM version of the fan is based on Noctua's self-developed NE-FD1 PWM control chip. This integrates Smooth Commutation Drive technology (SCD) for quieter operation while enabling extra low power consumption. Fully automatic speed control is ensured via 4-pin connections; Thanks to a supplied low-noise adapter, the maximum speed in PWM operation can be reduced from 1200 to 900 rpm.
► ULN
With the ULN version of the fan, you have super-slow speed options (800/600 rpm) to choose from, allowing for near-silent operation. Ideal for ultra-low noise applications and particularly noise-sensitive users.
