Description
PCTG+GF is a technical filament that combines the strength of modern copolyester with the versatile properties of glass fibres. The result of this combination is a material with high impact strength and stiffness, which has excellent resistance to external conditions and chemicals.
The material with a matt and rough surface finish is suitable for demanding 3D printing projects (e.g. printing machine parts or tools) with its diverse properties.
Possible applications and examples:
- Prototyping (functional prototypes, special tools, small series production),
- Automotive (cover elements, connectors, electronics housing),
- Electronics (impact-resistant housing with temperature and chemical resistance).
Tip: Thanks to low shrinkage, excellent table hold and easy printing, PCTG+GF can be used in printers without a heated chamber.
Danger! PCTG+GF is characterised by excellent adhesion. Fiberlogy does not recommend printing directly onto the build surface or glass surface as this could damage the first layer. The use of tape is strongly recommended.
