Description
PCTG belongs to the same family as the popular PET-G, but offers higher impact strength (up to 20 times higher than PET-G), temperature resistance and visual clarity. This makes PCTG an excellent alternative to PET-G.
Since it does not require a heated chamber during the printing process, it can also be used in most private 3D printers without any problems. Due to its high dimensional stability and low shrinkage, it is also suitable for people without much experience in 3D printing.
The robust filament achieves results of approx. 90 KJ / m 2 in the Izod test (notched sample) and withstands high temperatures of up to 76 ° C.
The Fiberlogy PCTG Pure Transparent is also recyclable and approved for contact with food.

Step-up from PETG
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
Comes in a resealable bag. I used PETG settings (speed, retraction...) and just upped the temp to 280 deg. Prints nice at 70 mm/s, Volcano nozzle 0.6. There is not much stringing. Parts are very strong. Could print even at 250 deg. but much slower. I highly recommend this filament for functional parts and it should be used with filament dryer. It is moderately hygroscopic.
