Description
The properties of HIPS filament allow it to be used as a base filament and also as a support material for other filaments.
If you use it while printing, you will get a nice-looking print with a matte finish. You can polish it and even coat it with acrylic paint. This gives any model or miniature a very high-quality look.
It can also be used as a support material for prints with large overhangs or unusual shapes. After that, you only have to immerse the print in D-limonene. It dissolves HIPS and leaves only the desired print.
Properties
- Lighter than other materials
- Matte surface
- Soluble in D-limonene
- Can be polished, glued and covered with acrylic paint
