Description
Production
All filaments are manufactured at the colorFabb production facility in the Netherlands.
Since no external parties are needed in the production of colorFabb filaments, consistent quality can be guaranteed.
ColorFabb filaments have an excellent diameter tolerance which is necessary for clean 3D printing. All coils are measured with the help of a laser and colorFabb guarantees that all coils vary between +/- 0.05 mm in diameter at most.
Packaging
Within minutes of making a coil, it is sealed with an airtight film. Furthermore, each individual coil is packed in an extra carton to ensure safe transport.
Test Trials
The colorFabb testing lab has a wide range of well-known 3D printers. Various tests are continuously administered on an array of devices.
More information
With the PLA / PHA filament, colorFabb has developed a 3D printing material with higher strength and lower fragility than the ordinary PLA. PHA (Polyhdroxyalanoate) and PLA are co-polyester. Thus, PLA / PHA is 100% biodegradable.

It looks really stunning and has great layer adhesion. Had some troubles printing with it at first. You may need to reduce your retraction settings, or turn it off completely as the extruder-gear grinds the filament down otherwise.

colorFabb PLA / PHA Violet Transparent is amazing to use and looks really nice and vibrant. It has more of a frosted look than clear. Doing a temperature tower I found that 210 was a good temperature to print at. that been said this Filament performed better than most I have done before in this test. Will be getting some more of this!
